The State BJP on Monday
charged that Deendar Anjuman was planning to plant bombs at places of worship
in South India and North-East region on the eve of Christmas to create
communal tension and asked the government to immediately impose a ban on
the organisation.
BJP MP from Medak A Narendra
and spokesman G Kishan Reddy told reporters that intelligence reports received
by the Centre and State governments had confirmed that Deendar Anjuman
was conspiring to resort to blasts at places of worship to spread communal
hatred among various religions.
They said since conclusive
proof had been received by the investigative agencies on the involvement
of Deendar Anjuman in the serial blasts at churches which rocked AP, Karnataka
and Goa five months ago, the case regarding the blasts should be handed
over to the CBI.
The leaders wanted a
ban on the Jamaitul Hizbul Mujahideen and Students Islamic Movement of
India, which has close contacts with Deendar Anjuman.
