Ayodhya - Annoyed with
the ruling bharatiya janata party's ''dilly-dallying attitude'' on the
issue of the Ram temple construction here, chairman of Sri Ram Janma Bhoomi
trust Paramhans Ramchandra Das today announced plans to sit on a fast-unto-death
here within a couple of days, reports UNI.
Criticising the BJP leaders
for dumping the issue on the court, he said, ''how could any one accept
such versions from the BJP government which itself came into power climbing
the 'mandir' ladder''.
Talking about his fast,
he said the district administration had been informed about the decision.
The date of the proposed dharna would be announced after discussions with
his followers.
The statement of BJP
president Bangaru Laxman threatening judicial action against Vishwa Hindu
Parishad if it tried to revive the temple issue before any court direction,
had been accepted as a challenge by the supporters of Ram mandir, he added.
