Bamiyan Buddha demolition expose
the true face of Islam - Dr. Pravin togadiya
The demolition of Bamiyan Buddhas
has exposed the true face of Islam, put under the Burkha by self serving
Muslim Maulvis and the secular Talibans in the Indian media.
Making this allegation in a press
note issued here today Dr. Pravin Togadiya alleged that by letting the
mullahs get away lightly with the standard disclaimer that the demolition
is anti-Islamic and prohibited in the Koran, the Indian society is doing
great disservice to its future generations. Without the right countervailing
measures to be taken right away, the non-Muslim Indians will meet the fate
of the Bamian Buddhas, he regretted.
He revealed that the Holy Koran
specifically commands a believer to destroy idol worshippers and their
places of worship. Where ever the Muslims have been numerically and politically
weak, they have advanced the benign nature of the holy book but when they
are in overwhelming dominance as in Pakistan, Bangladesh, Afghanistan or
in our J & K, temples and idols have been destroyed, he added.
Claiming that the true followers
of Islam remain eternal vandals, irrespective of the time they live in,
as symbolised by Mohmmed Gaznavi, Mohmmad Ghori, Allaudin Khilji. Aurangzeb
and hailed as Gazis by the devout. Maulana Ommer, the Taliban leader is
an upholder of the 'lofty' tradition in modem times.
Thanking the prominent Jamaate'
Islami leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani, for revealing the truth about Islam
by calling Kashmir militancy a religious issue Dr. Pravin Togadiya demanded
it was time the rest of the world identified the root of the problem which
lay in Deoband school of Islam, whose massage keeps the Islamic extremists
going whether in J & K, Afghanistan, Chechenia or Nigeria. Target this
school of Islam and the very powerhouse of Islamic extremism stands targetted.
Then there will be no future recruits to the cause. Precision surgical
strikes should be made at the roots. Giving a wakeup call to the civilized
world, he exorted a united2 response to these bigots so that they can no
longer expand the cause to new area, the present area under their occupation
should go and finally they should no longer have standing room any where
on this earth. Only then this world will be civilised and safe place to
live in he said.
He requested the secular national
press to be objective and patriotic instead of attacking Hindu organisations
when ever they made protests agaist Islamic destruction whether in history
or in present times, while the Muslims extremists remained respectable
for the media the patriotic Indians continued to remain maligned by the
same watchdogs of secularism.
