Jharkhand health minister Lal Hemandra Pratap
Dehati on Friday resigned from the UPA government, and his son Bhanu Pratap
Sahi was sworn in as minister in the Madhu Koda government.
Mr Sahi was administered the oath of office
by governor Syed Sibtey Razi in a simple ceremony at the Raj Bhavan here.
The chief minister said, Mr Sahi might get
the health portfolio, held by his father.
Mr Sahi was earlier denied a Cabinet berth
as there were three pending, warrants of arrest against him in Garwah.
His father was then sworn-in as the 12th minister.
