Terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir have issued fresh diktat against Hindus. They are forcing Hindus to print the wordings Allah ki Meharbani on wedding cards if they want a peaceful wedding in the family. The Hindus are asked not to don their religious symbols like Janaeu, Tilak and stopped from displaying the pictures of their deities.

A state police intelligence source revealed that many such incidents have been reported from remote areas of Rajouri, Kathua, Doda and Udhampur districts.

A relative of a Hindu family who serves as an attendant at a local food point said that he has received a similar wedding card with such wordings. Requesting anonymity, the source said that his second cousin living in Kalakot's remote village printed the wedding cards as per militants' diktat because the militants had threatened to turn the wedding into a death day if their order is not implemented.

Even the local news reports have authenticated this by reporting reports on this. Militants have killed several Hindus in remote areas on several occasions, many Hindu families have migrated and less than five per cent living in mountains are forced to adopt Islam as in case of family of Chain Singh of a village of Rajouri. He, however, converted to Hinduism by shifting from his native village.

The state BJP unit spokesperson Hari Om said that the party has taken serious note of this and would ask the government to provide security to Hindus so that they could have religious freedom.

Hindus in Jammu and Kashmir have always been the target of militants. Officially, more than 60,000 Hindus have been killed since 1991. Seventy temples destroyed and over 300,000 Kashmiri Hindus have been forced to leave their homes and many others from Doda, Rajouri and Poonch.

However, sources say that Hindus are not filing any police complaints because there is no protection cover for them because from many areas, the army pickets have been removed and in case they file complaints, the terrorists would kill them.

The state BJP and district unit leaders have always been opposing the removal of security forces from remote areas and there have been many instances when after the shifting of security pickets have given militants free hand to kill Hindus.
