Jihad not terrorism

Jihad not terrorism

Author: Editorial

All the civil forces were unsuccessful to defeat the terrorist attacks in Mumbai and at last, different squads of Military forces had to end this civil crisis on war footing. Almost all are busy in the admiration of our armed forces for defeating or ending these infiltrating Jihadis. But it is doubtful as to how many have deduced the meaning of it. We have justified pride over the achievement of commandos of our military forces, soldiers, Jawans and officers. But their work is to protect the country in the situation arising out of war and last week, they had to do the same in Mumbai. Has not the Central Administration admitted that there is an unannounced War named Jihad? To listen to the point, which from Osama Bin Laden direct to Toyaba, Mujahiddin, every Jihadi is saying full throatedly for a long time, the Indian Government has sacrificed two hundred innocent lives. You listen to it or don't, accept it or not, but when the enemy announces war with you and starts actual action against you, you cannot escape from it. Everybody from Toyaba-Mujahiddins in PoK, Afghani terrorists, Talibani, Laden, Jawahiri all have declared Jihad against India. Does anybody remember the India Government or so-called Secular parties having dared to take this declaration of war seriously? Instead of it, all have indulged in complacency by saying that terrorism does not have a religion and misguided the common public. Not only that but after any sabotage or blast took place, civil administration was kept under kept constant pressure by threatening it saying "Why are you arresting people of only one religion?" Saying this did not end the war named Jihad and due to incompetence of the debilitated and napping civil administration, Military forces had to intervene.

Internal security, social security, rule of law and guarantee of life and property is not the work of armed forces; it is the responsibility of Police, State Reserved Police, Paramilitary forces, civil administration and Government. If the rulers are interfering in the work of intelligence department and preventing their arresting the suspects and coming in the way of putting a stop to their activities, then the civil administration becomes debilitated. When the terrorists fire shots, accusing the officers who endanger their lives of fake encounters, suspending them, the resultant enquiries, cases do not enhance the social security, but it is committing the sin of making the rule of law ramshackle. During the last 5-7 years, the work of demoralizing the civil administration, Police mechanism is being done openly. The bravery of the dying police is honoured for a short time but his family members remain neglected. On the contrary a hue and cry is started to give justice to the killed suspect by self-styled social outfits. Out of it Jihadi groups get encouragement and determination. The technique and war by name Jihad is not a civil problem, but it is a scattered loose inimical army without a General or nation. Any religious extremist from any nation can be a participant in that. He is free to make self-declared war. Indian Armed forces cannot fight without orders from the Government. They had fight wars within the framework of United Nations Organization, UNESCO, Amnesty international etc. All rules of these are not applicable to Jihadis. Only therefore, debilitated administration is a bolstering battleground for them. Civil localities are battlegrounds for them and our Government thought itself gratified in denying this truth and had at last had to invite armed forces and gave confession of its inaptitude.

Is it not an admission by the Government of being incompetent to run the civil administration when it had to invite National Security Guards to fight the terrorists in Mumbai? What is the exact qualitative difference in the Kargil war and the intense fight of 2-3 days in the prominent buildings in Mumbai? At that time when the Jihadis had infiltrated in the blood-freezing area, Military was accused of carelessness. Now, infiltration was done by the same Jihadis in the crowded Mumbai metro openly. The Jihads fought for nearly two days with Police and Military forces in the nearby area of Mantralaya, State Police HQ and the office of the Police Commissioner. This is called the state of anarchy. Is it not an admission to bring Military, as a remedy for this of Central Administration has been dilapidated? If the chief of the sheep is a lion and the General of the Army of lions is a sheep, the sheep win over the army of lions, such goes the adage. In short, the manliness and bravery of a society is dependent on what leadership it has got. Mumbai episode has proved it. The important difference between the army committed to its duty and civil administration dancing to the tune of weak leadership has come to the fore. The rulers thought themselves gratified in denying the terribleness of Jihad till the mole became a mountain and when the situation went out of control, accepted the war situation and invited the army. That means the problem is not of violent Jihad, but of denying the reality of terribleness of Jihad and allowing the situation to go out of control. Those who are problem themselves, how can they search the remedy and implement it? Is he the guard who misguides the society and makes it a sacrificial goat? Who will save if we forget this reality of everyday life? At least now, will the administration and the rulers confess that from Toyaba Mujahiddin to Talibani, Laden all have declared Jihad against India?
