Gandhi, Periyar and the Justice

I come to understand Justice KM Joseph has been grossly misunderstood for his smile and has attracted a lot of criticism from Hindu groups. Even I was mislead to criticize him. The truth is, there is absolutely no fault on his side.

If at all, Justice Joseph has upheld the true Gandhian values in his words and deeds.

Gandhi wanted an India where Hindus must not retaliate if the Muslims attack them. Even if they kill all the Hindus, the sacrifice would help in establishing a new "peaceful" world.

Periyar believed 97% of the people can achieve peace, only if the 3% Brahmins ceased to exist.

In both cases, these "Tall leaders" believed a "Peaceful" world could be established only if Hindus (including Brahmins) ceased to exist.
While Periyar wanted just the 3% sacrifice, Gandhi wanted the 90% to sacrifice for the sake of 9%.

Justice Joseph is a true Christian and he's made it amply clear during a Good Friday in the past. He too believes in sacrifice.

He's seen and understood how the Christians have sacrificed themselves in Pakistan. Yousuf Yohana, the last well known Christian in Pakistan sacrificed Christianity to establish peace in Pakistan dressing room.

In short, all these controversies about Muslim areas, Hindu festivals, stone pelting, LJ and STSJ are trivial. The Hindu - Muslim communal tensions persist even today, not because Hindus celebrate and Muslims get offended.

The Brahmins are hated not because they are creating any specific problems. The problem is the Hindus (Brahmins included) didn't listen to Gandhi and Periyar. Problem is they just didn't disappear from the face of the earth. Problem is, the Hindus still exist.
 
Justice Joseph understands the real problem. That's why he smiled. Hope all the confusions have been cleared.
