At a time when security agencies are feeling the heat combating Bangladesh and Pakistan based terrorist groups in Assam, a new fundamentalist organisation 'Islamic United Revolution Protect of India' will certainly give them a tough time.

BANGLADESH AND Pakistan based terrorist groups like Harkat-Ul-Mujaheedin, Harkat-Ul-Jihad or Jamat-Ul-Mujaheedin have active presence in Assam. But none of Middle East, North Africa, Chechnya or East Europe are active in North East India. This has been officially admitted in the budget session of state assembly.

In a written reply, government of Assam revealed that most of the jihadis have entered Assam through porous Indo-Bangla international border. Arrested jihadi Badrul Alam, Riyajul Islam Choudhuri, Sheikh Mehboob Alam, Faciullah confessed of entering Assam, in front of security agency, through the same porous route.

To prevent such intrusion government has formed Lead intelligence Agency (LIA) and Border Security Force (BSF). Under this agency, BSF, Assam Police and state and central intelligence are working uniformly against the terrorist groups.

But at that time when operation against United Liberation Front of Asom (ULFA) going on and another militant outfit named Islamic United Revolution Protect of India (IURPI), has been formed covering the Muslim dominated districts of Assam and West Bengal. Having made this sensational revelation, intelligence sources said that on the auspice of Bangladesh based terrorist Ataur Rahman a new organisation Jamat-Ul-Mujaheedin-Bangladesh (JMB) has also been formed. It has succeeded in expanding its terror network to North Bengal and Koch Bihar district of West Bengal and Dhuburi, Goalpara and Barpeta of Assam. These are the adjoining area of the two neighbouring states and are the bordering area along Bangladesh.

All the activities have been operated from Raumari, an interior border-place of Bangladesh. Under the direction of Ataur Rahman, a fish-seller of Raumaari named Akand Khan is managing all the organisational activities from Raumari, bordering area of Bangladesh. They are targeting the 'char area' and other Muslim dominating areas of West Bengal and Assam.

Extremist like Shah Alam, Abdul Hussain allies Mohammad Aziz are also working to strengthen the network of the newly formed fundamentalist organisation. The sources also revealed that a huge cache of arms has been received by Rana Sheikh, the chief of Commander of IURPI at Naithangsory in Chittagong hill district last December. The arms were brought from Cambodia, the heaven of extremist through the sea route. Later the arms were supplied to the extremist organisation of North East like ULFA, (National Socialist Council of Nagaland - Khalpang (NSCN-K) and the other Muslim terror groups. Along with the AK-47 and AK-56 rifle, urges grenades (it is hand-held high-velocity grenade launcher) were also there, sources said.
