Supercop K P S Gill says he has completed his job in Gujarat and rejects criticism that early assembly elections in Gujarat would polarise the society in the state along communal lines and heighten tension. Returning after completing two months as Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi's security advisor, he told in an interview here on Wednesday that his job in that pose is over and denied he would monitor from here the situation in the state.
Gill said "the democratic exercise
has to be held and a few months here and there does not matter. Why should
there be problems if polls are held a few months earlier or after?"
