Lashkar-e-Taiba launched intensive rockets and hand grenades attacks on the Indian army in Surankot and Haveli areas. A military car was destroyed. 11 personnel including a captain were killed. Numerous others were injured. Mujahideen safely reached their positions after completing the operation.
According to the details, Mujahideen launched a rocket attack on a military car while it was passing through Maidana Pull area of Tehsil Surankot in Poonch district. One of the rockets struck the car front and exploded. Parts of shattered vehicle spread in the air. LT Mujahideen got nearer and opened fires on the army troops. 5 personnel killed on the spot. 2 others sustained critical injuries. Mujahideen returned totally unscathed.
In a separate encounter occurring in Brachar area of Tehsil Haveli in Poonch district, it is learnt that Indian army accompanied by Task Force and Central Reserve Police Force, launched a crackdown and opened fires on the Mujahideen. Lashkar-e-Taiba made a counterattack. Exchange on fires continued for at least 45 minutes. Area presented a view of battlefield. Mujahideen broke siege and safely escaped. 6 army troops including a captain were killed.

SRINAGAR:
Mujahideen have started Takmil-e-Pakistan mission against the Indian army. It is reported that they have started storming the camps and trenches of the army to attack the sensitive army installations.
DORSA:
Mujahideen attacked an army camp with rockets. Missile fired on the camp resulted in a huge destruction. The building was demolished and at least 14 army troops were killed. Others were critically wounded.
SANGLA:
In another encounter, Mujahideen killed 4 army personnel while the others fled. Mujahideen occupied the post of Darra Sangla. They kept their hold for two hours and then set ablaze the post by the gunpowder.
BALAKOT:
It is also reported by Jihad media that 8 army troops were killed by the Mujahideen in a clash occurring in Balakot area of Poonch district. Numerous others sustained critical injuries. A famous Mujahideen Commander Martyred.
BUDGAM:
In Budgam town, an army truck loaded
with arms and ammunition suddenly caught fire at a time when Rashtriya
Rifles Regiment personnel were going to launch an army operation in Chadora
area. The whole area resounded by the explosions. Several army troops are
likely to have been killed as well as wounded.
