The Delhi High Court today dismissed a PIL seeking registration of FIRs against VHP leaders, including its international secretary, Pravin Togadia, for allegedly making inflammatory speeches against Muslims at the Dharam Sansad rally here in February last.
``There is no merit in the petition,''
a Division Bench said, while rejecting the petition filed by the president
of Real Cause, Kamran Siddique. The court, however, directed the Delhi
Police to ensure the safety of citizens during such rallies.
