Jana Krishnamurthi said it was evident that the party workers who were injured in the blast, had been making bombs and one of them had exploded grievously injuring them. He expressed hope that the centre would take notice of this event and the Home Ministry would inquire into it.
Shri Krishnamurthi said that the event was ominous since since the state was being ruled by a Front led by the CPI-M.
Kannur district is north
Kerala is notorious for CPI-M violence against opponents, mainly the RSS
and BJP, scores of whom have been killed or maimed by violent attacks by
Communist goons. The memory of BJP Yuva Morcha leader Jayakrishna
Master being hacked to death in his class room almost one year ago is still
fresh in the minds of the people of Kerala and, in fact, the entire country.
