[Note from Hindu Vivek Kendra: If a Hindu Chief Minister extolled the virtues of Hinduism on a public platform, the intellectuals in the whole world would have gone ballistic shouting secularism is in danger. Furthermore, the media wants to turn a blind eye to the fact thyat the Dhinakrans are one of the more active proselytisers in India.]

Hyderabad, Dec. 4: Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhar Reddy urged people to imbibe the love and compassion displayed by Jesus Christ towards his fellow beings. Addressing a mammoth gathering of people who congregated at the

Polo Grounds in Secunderabad as part of the Twin Cities Prayer Festival, the Chief Minister said that Jesus felt love was the solution to every problem, and

His teachings were very valid in the present times.

"There is a need to show concern for one another irrespective of caste, creed and colour," he said. Quoting from the New Testament, YSR said that one must love one's neighbour as oneself. "If we follow this basic principle of Christianity, then half of our problems will be solved," said YSR, who began his speech with a Hallelujah. He praised Dr D G S Dhinakaran and Dr Paul Dhinakaran for striving to spread the message of the Gospel. Dr Paul Dhinakaran in his speech said a God-fearing person heading the State would bring glory and honour to the region.
