Jayendra Saraswathi Swamy supplied 'Censored' Newspapers in prison (Dinamalar-6.12.04)

It is learnt that newspapers are supplied to the Kanchi Seer only after  they are censored.

The seer is supplied 3 Tamil and 2 English newspapers daily. Usually  newspapers are given to the prisoners after blackening the items which  the authorities consider  the prisoner should not know. But until now  they were being given uncensored. So he had learnt about the arguments  in the court, the enquiries being made with different persons and filing  of new cases against him.

The government came to know through the intelligence department that the  seer may discuss with his lawyers based on such news .Hence an order was  passed to the jail department that the items concerning him should be  censored.

Following this he is being given only two Tamil papers. The relevant  news items are either cut or blackened.
