Sir-In his letter, 'The RSS factor' (May 21), Arshi Khan Spews
venom on the BJP part of sinister propaganda unleashed against
nationalist forces. Dr Khan should be reminded that Muslims of
the subcontinent have forfeited the high moral ground to preach
distorted version of secularism after having forced
vivisection of India on the basis of religion under the communal
spell of MA Jinnah's leadership. The exclusive Islamic version
of "secularism" has led to the swiftest and most ferocious ethnic
cleansing of "Kafirs" in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Bangladesh and
Kashmir. Pakistan and Bangladesh are Islamic republics where
Muslims alone are the privileged, heaven-born, chosen race. Even
in "secular" India Muslims enjoy certain special rights denied
to non-Muslims. All non-BJP political parties vie with each
other to molly-coddle them for they tend to vote strategically
and en-bloc, using voting right with religious fervour and also
as a formidable weapon to punish those who are not in the good
books of the Ummah. Dr Khan postulates, Muslims in India have
not floated any anti-Hindu party. They do not need to do so,
They can sit back and enjoy the unfolding scenario where all non-
BJP parties are working to Islamise Indian polity.
May I also remind Dr Khan of the frenzied reaction of the Muslims
in Bihar to the enlightened appeal of the Muslim ex-director of
Khuda Bax Library of Patna for deletion of the repugnant epithet
"Kafirs"? How does Dr Khan justify the continued malicious "use"
of "Kafirs" in Islamic theology with reference to non-Muslims and
especially Hindus?
