Four foreign militants, including a Chechen, were among
nine people killed in Jammu and Kashmir since last
evening.
This is for the first time in the seven years of
militancy that a Chechen militant was killed In two
counter-insurgency operations, one mercenary, apparently
from Chechnya, was among the four foeign militants killed
by Rashtriya Rifles at village Arizal in Badgam district
of Kashmir, a sopkeman said.

Documents recovered from the killed mercenary and
statements from local villagers indicate his name to the
Abu Kubab alias Abu Zoldin alias Abu Abida.
