Title: Padgaokar on secular Islam
In his article "A landslide victory for democracy in
Bangladesh" (The Pioneer, June 22, 1996) Shri Dileep
Padgaokar says, " The Islamisation of the three parties
may have served to stall the growth of the Jamaat and the
extremist 'fundamentalist' forces. Furthermore, the
minorities, though still owing allegiance to the AL in
overwhelming numbers, have begun, cautiously it is true,
to support the other formations as well."
Now, let us see what Shri Padgaonkar advocates for India.
He wants to denigrate everything Hindu, and raves and
rants against Hindutva. And he would advocate the
Muslims that they should never vote for the BJP, since it
is a communal party. This is the amazing perversion that
the secular 'intellectuals' indulge in. Sometimes I
wonder if they really know what they are writing about.
