It can be said that "BJP's Fascism" is better for Indian
Muslims than the 'secularism' practised by the Congress
and others for the last 50 years. When the entire
country is discussing the definition of secularism the
point of view of Muslims also needs to be understood as
the nationalist Muslims have suffered the most by the
practice of this brand of `secularism'. It gave rise to
the politics of vote-bank which in turn gave rise to co
politics within the Muslim community. People like
Abdullah Buhakri became self appointed spokespersons of
the Indian Muslim community and are pampered by the
'secular' parties. In the process a backlash gave rise
to fundamentalism among a section of Hindus. But it
deserves to be appreciated that in comparison to Muslim
fundamentalism the world over, and in India too, Hindu
fundamentalism has a more human face. In Iran the reins
of the fundamentalists were in hands of Ayatullah
Khomeini a theocrat, which gave birth to Islamic
terrorism. In India never has the movement gone mid the
hands of theocrats who are just not there. Instead we
have men like L.K. Advani and Atal Behari Vajpayee who
have very sensibly given the frustration of an ordinary
Indian, a nationalist colour by making the BJP movement a
platform of hope for them. There are few who can doubt
this. BJP's nationalism need not be feared as often
mischievously propagated by the 'secularists' as a symbol
of Fascism. A fiercely nationalist government will be
much more beneficial to Indian Muslims than the self-
styled secular ones.

As a member of the 12 crore Indian Muslim community I
strongly feel that the majority of Indian Muslims think
like their fellow Hindu brothers and support the BJP
staunch nationalism. Often propagation of such
nationalism has been construed by the so-called secular
forces as anti-Muslim. Then petty Muslim leaders on the
pay roll of the secular political industry further plays
up the fear of BJP's staunch nationalism among Muslims
and projects it as anti Islam. In my opinion Muslims
should not get carried away by such propaganda of the
anti-BJP parties. I can, with confidence and with
whatever little knowledge 1 possess. say that neither the
BJP is anti-Muslim nor is it am anti-Islam. BJP is
outright a pro-Hindu nationalist party and to be pro-
Hindu is no crime. You can be pro-Hindu without being
anti-Muslim and anti-Islam. Muslims must understand the
dirty game of secularists in this country who have for
half a century ruled India and ruthlessly. crushed the
BJP's brand of Nationalism by secular whipping and
labelling BJP as an anti-Muslim, anti-Islam and anti-
Secular party.

Muslim should know that the BJP respects Islam as much as
it love Hinduism and they must make it clear to their
secular godfathers that to be a good Muslim one need not
be anti-Hindu or anti-BJP. But why should a Muslim vote
for the BJP? Today the big question is how can BJP get
Muslim votes and why should the Muslims vote for the BJP.
