The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief, Prof. Rajendra Singh, is
all praise for the efforts made by Union home minister L.K.
Advani to improve the situation in Jammu & Kashmir.

Addressing the annual gathering of RSS activists on the occasion
of Vijay Dashmi in Nagpur on Thursday, he said the situation in
Jammu & Kashmir has started improving since the home ministry
started looking after it. This, he said, was evident in the rise
in the number of tourists visiting the state.

Recently, VHP chief V.H. Dalmiya and secretary general Acharya
Giriraj Kishore had criticised the government for failing to
protect Hindus in Jammu & Kashmir. But the RSS chief used a
public platform to praise the performance of the ministry.

Mr Singh alleged that two Muslim institutions in India had links
with Pakistan's ISI which has spread its network in Tamil Nadu
and Kerala. While he did not name the institutions, he said the
home ministry came to know about it during investigations in the
Coimbatore blasts.
