RAIPUR: Missionaries
of Charity chief Sister Nirmla has said the government could not be held
responsible for recent attacks on Christians and their places of worship
and described the act as handiwork of people who have no faith in the God,
reports PTI.
The Central and state
governments are doing their best to protect Christians, she told reporters
here last evening, and added that the attacks were handiwork of a certain
section of people who have no faith in God.
She said she was satisfied
with the security provided to the Christians.
To a query she said One
need not convert to another religion to serve the people and I would not
advice anybody to embrace Christianity to serve the mankind, Sister Nirmala
said.
Opposing the practice
of abortion, she demanded a separate law to ban the sinful practice.
