The topic of discussion
at present in Kerala to which front Muslim League will join". Is it to
continue with U. D. F. or join the LDF? For the past 30 years Muslim League
has been a faithful partner of the Congressled United Democratic Front.
But of late the Marxist Party has been secretly inviting the League to
join them and after 2 1st of July, Marxist Party has come out openly inviting
the Muslim League to join LDF. Marxist State Committee in their meeting
held on 21.7.2000 in the presence of Shri Harkishan Singh, the All India
General Secretary decided to make an alliance on a regional basis with
the Muslim League to fight the Congress-led United Democratic Front in
the ensuing local bodies election. The League is in a predicament. It is
reluctant to reject summarily the invitation of the Marxist Party who protected
a prominent leader of the League in a women's molestation case.
Muslims constitute 22%
of the population of Kerala and the League enjoys the active support of
only 10% of the Muslim population. Yet the League is a decisive factor
in Kerala politics. The League is the remnant of the old Muslim League
which had demanded the partition of India and managed to get Pakistan for
Muslims. The leaders of the league had often openly conceded this fact.
But for the two fronts who swear even to commit suicide to save secularism,
the consortium with the League has become inevitable.
It was the Congress which
in 1960 made a pact with the Muslim League. This pact raised the status
of the League. At that time CPI had condemned the Pact as opportunistic.
That front collapsed in 1965. League became an important unit in the seven-party
front which was constituted by the Marxist Party in 1967. This front broke
in 1969. Then the League joined a new front formed by Communist Party and
Congress. From the date till now Muslim League is in the Congress camp.
Looking at the open invitation
extended by the Marxist Party to the League, We have to presume that Congress
League alliance is coming to an end. In the beginning, the CPI Marxist-League
alliance will be for Panchayat Raj-Nagarapalika Election. It is clear that
the goal of the Marxist Party is to have an alliance with the League for
the approaching Assembly Election.
The Kerala Congress which
was formed in 1965 with the blessings of Christian religious heads has
split into four groups. Our of the four groups, one is with the LDF and
the other three with the UDF. The CPI is out to appease the Christians
in the garb of protecting their interests.
Conspiracy to divide
Hindus
The main purpose and
important aim of the pseudosecular parties is to try and divide Hindu Community
which forms 55% of the state population exploiting caste rivalry and reservation
issues. This is the greatest threat which confronts BJP in Kerala.
Ezhavas are numerically
the largest single community among Hindus in Kerala. This community was
considered untouchable about a hundred years back. Swamy Vivekananda expressed
his opinion that the community should be organised under the leadership
of a Spiritual Acharya. Following the advice Dr. Palpu Organised all Ezhavas
under the leadership of Shree Narayana Guru with organisation SNDP. This
SNDP was able to achieve social equality to a certain extent by organising
agitation and representation. so the conference was inaugurated by B. P,
Athre (Benaras University).
This conference was a
tremendous success. The Congress became highly nervous and in the two succeeding
by elections Congress was routed and candidates of the Hindu Mandalam Sabha
became victorious. This virually upset the Congress, which resorted to
Machiavellian ways mentioned in Chanakya Sutra- split and destroy even
by following Samadama, Bheda and Danda Paths, and ultimately the Congress
was able to destroy Hindu Maha Mandal Communists crept into the Ezhava
Community and Congress took into its fold the Nair Community. Kerala became
the fertile battle fields of politicalised communal parties.
Now the society is suffering
the consequence of the misdeeds of the Congress and communist exploitation.
We see the urge to unite. The change from communal politics to nationalistic
politics and ultimately change in Kerala politics to all India mainstream
have to be made. This will ultimately lead BJP to success.
Jana Sangh was very much
in Kerala election politics from 1960. Step by step there has been a steady
increase in the number of votes. From 1987, BJP have developed sufficient
strength to fight all contests. If taken party by party BJP has got greater
potentiality to get more votes than the Muslim League. But we are facing
the handicap of communal appeasement adopted by both Congress and Marxists,
which are giving strength to Muslim League and to the handicap of BJP.
Now the people have understood this deceipt of the UDF and LDF.
