Hi all,
Just I visited West Bengal in different
spots on 25th to 31st December,01 in Bharat and noted statements of Bangladeshi
Hindu victims who fled away from Bangladesh to Bharat, W.B for safety and
shelter as refugee on behalf of HRCBM and WHFwhich was also vedeo taped
for proper authentication and necessary legal steps in future against the
terrorists as described below :-
Kakdwip, South 24 Parganas, W.B.
About 29 families consisting 243
members of Hindu have already took shelter at Kakdwip from Sandwip,Chittagong
in different destinations. On 27th we made some of them to assemble in
a place for relief operation through Bastuhara Shahayata Samittee organized
by workers of RSS and VHP at Pukurberia, Kakdwip. We took interview on
13 families who lost their home and hearth after the parliamentary election
of BD. One Nader Banshi (62) who is from Sandwip Island,Chittagong told
us that he had vast landed properties, boats for fishing, nets for fishing
etc, but due to repression,torture and rape on women he left the country.He
told us that his daughers have been raped, his son's wife have been raped
and one after another we interrogated with Rabi Bala(21) vicim Bhagawati(20),
One Kanan Bala (23) wife of Kamala Kanta toldus that some terrorists came
to her and demanded taka 50,000.00 as jizia tax and failur to give such
tax they forcefully raped her infront of her husband and children. She
told us that one Prativa Rani (20) Usha Rani (18) and Sharati Bala (20)
were raped by Iqbal, Anowar and Munir two times alternately. One Brihaspati
Das (23) has been raped by Ismail, Mozammel and Akbar of Moghdhara village
at Sandwip p.s. One Tarun Das (23) was also raped by them , another Jashodarani
wife of Durgadhan was raved by Md. Suman and Alamgir, another women Laksmi
Rani Das(23) was also raped by gangstar at Sandwip Island.
It is very unfortunate that one
8 years minor girl namely Mamata (8) was not only raped but also the terrorists
raped her mother Ritu Bala, her Boudi and her brother was seriously injured
while he wanted to resist them. The minor girl Mamata was abandoned by
her guardian while terrorists started looting and creating havoc in the
locality. Mamata is now staying without his guardian at Kakdwip with other
victims. One Shilpi Rani Das (23) Ramgati, Charlakkaya was also raped by
Md. Sumon Litan and Sanjib son of Badhsa Meah, Shilpi Rani complaind against
Md. Suman to Badsha Meah but yeild no result. Ratna (30) of Amtali was
also raped Champa Das (30) told us that 20/30 terrorists entered into her
room and everybody wanted to enjoy her one after another. One Tara Das(23)
was raped by four terrorists. Another Takur Dashi (23) was also gang raped
at Sandwip.
One Gobinda Das of Motdhara was
attacked by some terrorists namely Ismail, Mozammel, A. Hossain and demanded
an amount of Tk.50,000.00 , One Depali Das (23) wife of Kazal Das was also
brutally raped. one Bindu Rani (24) of Hatiya p.s. at Ramgati was feared
to death if any information regarding rape is disclosed to anybody else.
One Aloka Rani Das wife of Shyam Lal Das of Bhola district reported to
us that her two daughers aged about 20 to 23 have been feared to be abducted
by the terrorists in that locality and as a result he brought them to West
Bengal for safety and security, another Saraswati Das(30) wife of Nikhil
Das told us that she has been threatened not to disclose the identity of
the terrorists. More Rajib Kumar, Nirmal chandra Durjadhan, Kamala Kanta,
Nikhil Das of Sandwip told us their terrible condition of repression by
the Islamic fundamentalists.
GUMA RAILWAY STATION : NORTH 24GANAS,W.B.

We visited Rabindra Bazar at Guma
where Shri Adhir Chandra Das of Bagerhat district told us that the terrorists
demanded a great amount of money as jizia tax and failure to comply he
must hand over his properties in writing. The terrorists came to his house
with deadly weapons and brought a non-judicial stamp for signature and
finding no ohter alternative he put his signature He along with 16 members
have come from Bangladesh for safety and security of life, but the relatives
at Guma refrained from give any shelter for indefinite period. Shri Madhab
Chandra Das (34) told us that the terrorsts demanded 50,000,00
taka for their safety and security in Bagerhat and could obtain an undertaking
from Madhab Das for personal gain in future. One Madhabi Rani Das (14)
was also raped although she did not want to disclose the names of the terrorists.She
was the student of Class X at Rahamania School, one Dwip Das (7) told us
that some terrorsts thrown him in a pond and he somehow managed to cross
the border,

One Biswanath Dey, an RSS personnel
told us that 175 families consisting 565 members of their family have come
in Habra so far and they distributed amongst the victims some rices, dal,
kambal and other utencils for cooking. Shri Biswanath Dey handed over a
list of 565 members of refugees so far reached at Habra and reports are
coming to him that more refugees are reported to have been assembled at
Habra railway station. RSS and VHP took initiative to rehabilitate them.
I talked with the victims who have come from Banglaesh one Binoy Das, Atal
Das of Khulna, Binoy Mallick of Barisal, Bidhu Chandra Halder of Barisal
told us that the terrorists claimed their properties and wanted jizia tax
for theiir safety and security. They told us that one daughter of
Jiten Paul namely Kanak Lata was kidnapped and after 7 days she was found
abandoned in a hut.One Gopal Mallick of Barisal Uzirpur told us that some
terroirsts namely Rahim, Faruk and Sohel looted taka 2460/- from his pocket
and his brother Surjya Kanta Mallick was kidnapped for money. One Subodh
Majumder (22) of Barisal told us that his college collegues forced him
to come to India for ever only with a view to grab his immovable properties.
One Saraswati Hazra (17) of Ghagra p.s. Faridpur was interviewed who told
us that she was raped by Abdur Rahaman, Abu Bakar and Kalam. She was not
allowed to go to police station for placing complain. One kazal Howlader
(18) daugher of Jagadish Parial of Barisal told us that she left the country
due to torture and constant rape, sometimes she became unconscious. One
Bikalsh Brata Mondal was interviewed and he reported to us that some terrorists
demanded money and as a result he fled away for life and prestige.
THAKUR NAGAR RAILWAY STATION: 24

We visited Thakur nagar where we
found one Namita Majumder(24) daugher of Khirode Bairagee and her husband
Ashim Majumder who used to sing song, some terrorits appeared to them and
wanted to rape Namita. Namita refuged to cohabit with the terrorists but
the terrorists forcefully wanted to rape her keeping her husband Ashim
tied with rope and started raping. As a result they left for Bharat for
security of life. One Sumita Rani, a college teacher aged about 30 years
(Gournadi College) Barisal was raped by her collegues,but she refrained
from speak about the culprints responsible for offence. Anohter lady Mamata
aged about 24 years told us that some terrorists wanted to rape her
but failed and she alongwith others came to West Bengal for safety and
security.
Uttar Shimulpur at Thakur Nagar:

One Sabita Rani Roy a school teacher
of Uttar Shimulpur at Thakur Nagar told us that she is the leader for collecting
Bangladeshi refugees at her area and in the meantime she collected 80 families
consisting of 400 members and she had been distributing some rice, kambal,
dal and other necessaries for the victims. He told us that 100 victims
told her that most of the victims came to W.B. are the victims of rape
and torture. The victims still do not like to disclose the incident of
rape and torture, but it seems to us that most of them who came before
us are shy to tell the truth. Apart from this statements we interrorated
so many victims like Netai Mallick who told us that his daugher Kanak Mallick
(15) was kidnaped by the Islamic terrorists. One Sawpan Bewpari told us
that most of the women have come to Bharat for oppression of rape and torture
at their native places in Bangladesh. One Sumon Chander Das (10) son of
Upendra Das was interviewed and he told us that he was feared to death
by the terrorists. One Saraswati Mondal (14) of Tikadanga Mokshedpur Gopalganj
district told us that his house has been burnt into ashes as she refused
to comply with the wishes of Md.Zashim Uddin and others, one Satya Ranjan
Majumder(50) told us that A.Islam, Rahaman, Khaled forced him to go out
from the house and as a result he came to India. One Renu Banarjee told
us that she was about to be raped by some terrorists at Mirpur Dhaka,but
fortunately she has been set free and she came to India. one Kamalesh Halder
(17) Barisal district (Agailjara) was asked to answer how he came to India
he burst into tears and fell unconscious. One Akhi Mondal (17) of Rampaul,
Bagerhat told us that due to torture and rape she left the country, she
also told us that more 3-5 women of that village were kidnaped and set
them free after torture and rape, One Dipali Baral (30) of Uzirpur Barisal
was raped and let them free after 4 days. One Kanika Roy(23) was reported
by Dipali Baral that after 10 days she was freed and one Dipti Mallik (20)
and Haimanti Roy(17) were kidnapped and raped and set them free after 10
days.
We have also found no time to visit
more affected victims within a short span of time, but the number of Bangladeshi
Hindu victims are going to be increased abnormally, because most of the
victims do not like to exhibit themselves as refugee,but more desirous
to become citizen of Bharat. We found that RSS and VHP came forward to
assist those Hindu refugees but CPM government denied to do so and rather
trying to push back the refugees from West Bengal - says some of the Adhikaries
of RSS and VHP.
There are enough evidences of rape,
torture, persecution and oppression upon the religious minorities of Bangladesh
that can be utilized at the time of framing criminal charges against the
terrorists responsible for such heineous offence.We have also collected
the names, father's name, address, present location of the victims.
In Bangladesh, as per report of
NGO 10,000,00 Hindus are now under constant threat and they, under any
circumstances , should be rehabilitated and compensated immediately; otherwise
within a very short time there would be no more Hindus in Bangladesh.
