of a teenager in Oldham.
Gavin Hopley died in hospital on
Friday six days after he was attacked in the Glodwick area of Oldham, Greater
Manchester.
The 19-year-old from Heywood, near
Bury, suffered head injuries and failed to regain consciousness at the
North Manchester General Hospital.
The four men charged with murder
were arrested on Saturday and will appear before Oldham magistrates on
Monday.
More time
They are Mohammed Zubair and Abdul
Hashan, both 22, of Park Road in Oldham.
Also accused are 29-year-old Abdul
Hafiz, of Marlborough Street, and 20-year-old Mohammed Foulmiah, of Greenhill
Terraces, both in Glodwick.
Three other men appeared in court
on Saturday charged with assault causing grievous bodily harm to Mr Hopley.
Police asked for more time to question
them and they were remanded in custody until Tuesday.
The three are Pongki Miah, 38, and
Suleiman Hussain, 34, both of Landseer Street in the Glodwick area of Oldham,
and Ruhel Miah, 21, of Frederick Street in Coppice, Oldham.
Two teenagers have also been charged
in connection with the incident.
They are Zallal Uddin, 18, of Park
Road, Oldham, who is charged with theft and a 17-year-old youth, who cannot
be named for legal reasons, who is accused of violent disorder.
Both appeared before magistrates
in Oldham on Wednesday and were remanded in custody until February 20.
