Except for the humidity that quells
his spirit, there is little else tat will prevent Marcel Montenu, 38, from
working in India.
The Romanian aircraft maintenance
engineer with Air Deccan, and his colleague Lawrence Popescu, are impressed
with the social and cultural diversity of India. They have been working
with the airline, since November, and are on contract from TAROM, the Romanian
national carrier.
"Job satisfaction is a big high
for us," says Montenu. Their salary is the same as what they earned in
Romania, with additional perks. Says Lawrence, "There is no reason good
enough not to work in India."
