DMK president M Karunanidhi today
criticised investigating officials for allegedly trying to link film actresses
in the Sankararaman murder case, in which Kanchi Seer Jayendra Saraswathi
has been arrested.
"In a bid to add glamour to the
investigation, the film world women are being degraded by the investigating
officials," he said in the party official organ 'Murasoli'.
He said the investigating officials
should realise that "even sweet could turn out to be poison, if it was
too much."
The special investigating team,
probing the Sankararaman murder case, had recently summoned Swarnamalya,
an up and coming actress, to inquire her connections with the Sankara Mutt.
