The CPM which rode into power by getting the
support of fringe terrorist outfits like PDP, NDF, SIMI, Kanthapuram Musliar,
Jamaat-E-Islami etc is toeing the same line, despite strong opposition from
its predominantly Hindu support base. Several cases of extremism like Marad
butchery, Beypore boat blast, attacks on Tamil Nadu buses, blasts at Kozhikode
bus stops, seizure of gelatine sticks, pipe bombs and most recently seizure
of imported guns, swords, destruction of Beypore boat and arrest of banned
Simi activists, are going slow due to CPM-separatist bonhomie.
Last year CPM State Secretary Pinarayi Vijayan
visited the Markazu of Kanthapuram Musliar and spoke of co-operation between
Left and Islam. This year both Pinarayi and Chief Minister V.S. Achudanandan
attended the 29th anniversary of Markazu of Kanthapuram Musaliar, but on different
days. While Pinarayi spoke of a tie-up between Islam and 'communism' to fight
US imperialism and 'communalism' represented by the RSS, V.S. attacked RSS
for unleashing terror on the Muslims. He said for acts of a few, RSS is targeting
the entire Muslim community. But both never uttered a word against terrorism
taking place from Jammu to Kanyakumari in the name of jehad! Incidentally
Kanthapuram Musliar is under CBI probe for killing Chekkannur Moulavi, a reformist
Muslim, who spoke against extremism and jehad. It is a case of quid pro quo
between CPM and Kanthapuram for watering down CBI probe and getting Muslim
vote-banks.
When Swami Satyananda Saraswati attained samadhi,
not even a police dog paid homage to the saint who tirelessly worked for Hindu
samaj for sixty years, but when Major Archbishop Cyril Mar Baselious passed
away, the entire state machinery from Chief Minister was in attendance till
his burying. That is the power of vote-banks!
Pilgrims to Sabarimala and Guruvayoor are
being lathi-charged by police but Rs. five crore are being spent on a 'Haj
House' in Malappuram!
In a contempt of court case against Local
Administration Minister Pololi Mohammed Kutty and four newspapers, CPM MP
and Advocate Dr. Sebastian Paul appeared for P. Koya, Editor of the NDF newspaper
Thejus. This has evolved sharp response from various quarters with BJYM president
K. Surendran asking how a CPM MP can appear for a terrorist outfit in a contempt
of court cause.
The CPM-separatist tie-up is fraught with
dangerous consequences for the security of the state and nation in the context
of the National Security Advisor M.K. Narayanan's disclosure of Pak-printed
Indian currency flooding India and Islamic terrorists operating through share
market. Already arms and containers of currency have come to Kerala. But unmindful
of all warnings by IB, RAW, defence establishments, coast guard etc. CPM is
pursuing its separatist tie-up for temporary electoral gains. Pak currency
is used by terrorists to procure arms, bombs, purchase estates, islands and
carry out arms training. Kerala is on a powder-keg waiting to explode. God
save God's own country!
