The BJP today accused Congress of raising
the bogey of 'Hindu terrorsim' in the country to divert people's attention
from the core issues of terrorism and rising inflation.
"Congress has failed on all fronts in
the country and in order to hide its failures it has raised the bogey of Hindu
terrorism to divert people's attention from the core issues of terrorism and
rising inflation," BJP President Rajnath Singh said while launching BJP's
campaign for November 27 assembly polls in Madhya Pradesh at a public rally
in Rewa.
Referring to the arrest of Sadhvi Pragya Singh
Thakur in the Malegaon blast case, Singh said it happened for the first time
in the country that a person was subjected to four narco-analysis tests. Such
a thing has never happened in the past with any arrested person, he claimed.
The BJP President alleged Congress is not
acting against terrorism as it believes that if it acted against them then
Muslims will get angry.
He alleged that during the UPA rule, inflation
has set a new record making the life of a common man "unbearable".
Earlier, addressing another poll meeting at
Chhatarpur, Singh said while selecting party candidates it has focused on
totality and urged the people to compare Congress Party's 50 years of rule
with BJP's five years before casting their votes.
