The Hon'ble Minister, Information & Broadcasting;

Govt of India,

New Delhi - 110001.

Sub: Request to issue instructions to CBFC Mumbai to stop the issuance of Censor certificate to Hindi Film PK

Hon'ble Sir,

I most humbly submit as under.

1. That I am an advisory Panel Member, of CBFC at Mumbai, who has examined the Hindi Feature Film PK on 27th Nov 2014

2. That, There were some very objectionable scenes, as well as Dialogues in this film which I have taken very strong objections.

3. That these objections were raised by me as her the Guidelines of the CBFC (Govt of India).

4. That there were other members too who have examined the said film but none of them has taken objections, reason being, that they were influenced with the arguments of the Director of the film who was present there after the Screening of the film, not only that the concerned ARO, Mrs Vijaya Charwak did not take this matter of my objecting to certain parts of the film seriously, hence out of we four members, three members did not take objection for the required cuts in the film seriously, hence out of we four members, three members did not take objection for the required cuts in the film except me.

5. That since I was the only person who has taken objection, hence I feel that the Certificate shall be issued to this Film without the cuts which may create very many problems to the masses feelings hence this letter.

I have sent a letter to the CEO of CBFC, Mumbai, requesting him to stop the issuance of the Censor Certificate to this Film, and to refer to the Revising Committee, and wanted to meet him personally but he refused to meet me to discuss this matter, hence I am compelled to send this letter to you and request you to kindly instruct CEO not to issued censor certification to This Film. I further request you that this film should be reffered to RC (Revising Committee) of CBFC and accordingly I have sent a copy of which is attached here with for your information. I am sure that my request shall be acceptable to you in the interest of general masses..

Thanking you Sir

Satish Kalyankar
