Vishal Deshmukh is an inspiration, especially to the students who want to achieve their dreams but are unable to do so because of their financial problems.

Vishal comes from a small town called Manmad in Nashik district of Maharashtra. His father, Vishnu Deshmukh, was stenographer working under a lower court's judge in Manmad for 30 years. Vishnu Deshmukh lived with only one dream - to give his children good education. He motivated his son Vishal to study law and become a judge.

Vishal studied law at ILS Law College, Pune. He then practised at Manmad's lower court for five years that paid rich dividends.

Meanwhile, Vishal also appeared for Maharashtra Public Service Commission's exam for recruitment of first class judicial magistrates in the state. He cleared this examination in the first attempt and became a judge.

"If it weren't for my parents, I don't think I would have become a judge. They made sure that we were educated," said Vishal.

Vishal says that poverty cannot be a hurdle if one has determination and is willing to work hard.
