The man who wears saffron cloth has once again proved of what he is made of. Today CM Yogi Adityanath gave a gutsy statement taken shook the pseudo seculars of India.

“If I cannot stop namaz on road, I have no right to stop Janmashtami at thana”. This was the statement given out by Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath.

Yes, this was really a valid point and it was haunting crores of Hindus from decades. Now, this statement may be called as communal. But in reality this is really a secular statement. If Namaz is read using the loud speaker in Eid, than what’s wrong in permitting the Hindus to celebrate Janmasthami in police station?

Recently during the Kanwar Yatras, the officers warned the pilgrims not to use the microphones, DJs and music systems. But the reply given by CM Yogi was highly appreciable. He said the administration to ensure that microphones are banned everywhere and no sound emanates from any place of worship. Later he said that if you cannot enforce the ban on everyone than why to impose on Kanwar Yatris?

“I asked if this was a kanwar yatra or a funeral procession. If they don’t play music and drums, don’t dance and sing, don’t use the mike, how will it be a kanwar yatra”. This was said by Yogi Adityanath after restrictions were imposed on the Kanwar yatra.

Yogi also added that no one should object to the celebrations of Ganesh Utsav in any village and town.

If I take pride in saying I am a Hindu, I will be called communal!!!

This statement given by CM Yogi is 100 percent true. Yogi said that in India, Hinduism has reached such a pathetic situation that if an individual takes pride in saying that he is a Hindu, he will be called a communal. This happens only in India.

He further added that Indians hesitate to speak of their origin, but people from Nepal, Mauritius or any country where Hindus of Indian origin live, they feel proud to be called Hindus.

Finally he said that “prayers and kirtan may bring improvement in the police system”.

Why this is a game changer?

Till date, if any religious practice was banned or curbed by law, few people came on to streets protesting that their religion is under attack. But meanwhile, Hinduism was regularly attacked and no one protested against this injustice. Now, CM Yogi has showed a gutsy move by equating all the religion. So if someone wants to restrict celebrations of Janmasthami, then the same principle must be applied to Eid celebration too.
