Different opinions are surfacing over a video that has gone viral on social media showcasing alleged police brutality over Jamia students.

A video footage claimed to be from Jamia library was released by Jamia handle which alleged police brutality on students.

On one hand, the action invited condemnation by many users, while on the other several social media users raised doubts about the video.

It should be noted that the video is dated to 15 December, the same day where protests broke down in front of Jamia and several protesters entered library to escape police action. This fact was also corroborated by Jamia VC here.

Additionally, one user pointed out that in the same video several students can be seen rushing inside the library and have their books closed.

Another user pointed out that that a man can be seen wearing a mask in the video while studying. Questioning the said act, he also raised question that at the start of the video his book was closed and he can be seen looking around as if he is waiting for someone.

Another user pointed out that only 20 seconds into the video the guy started reading random pages of the book.

Additionally, the uploaded video has an abrupt cut at around 15 second mark, which also raises doubts.
