Mangaluru auto blast ‘an act of terror’: Karnataka Police.

During the treatment of the suspect passenger, who is in the ICU, it was found that he had undergone circumcision. The intel agencies have recovered one mobile phone, two fake Aadhaar cards and one PAN, debit card, an unused SIM and a notebook with circuit drawings from his rented house. The Jihadi connection for the Mangaluru Blast cannot be ignored.

Karnataka Director general and inspector general of police Praveen Sood on Sunday confirmed that the suspected low-intensity blast reported in an autorickshaw in Mangaluru on Saturday was an act on a part of terror.

It is opined by the experts now, if the blast was not a mere accident by chance and could be made under proper planning to harm the Hindus of Mangaluru city that would claim many lives as a fatal consequences. The planned blast as assumed could not be materialized at the right location in fixed time.

Soon after the incident, ADGP (law and order) Alok Kumar, referring to the incident, suspected it to be a low-intensity blast. He said, “The FSL team based on their examination, we will be able to conclude if it is a blast or something else. For now, we suspect that it is a low intensity blast. Two people have sustained burn injuries. The driver is from Mangaluru. The identity of the passenger is yet to be ascertained.” Perhaps the identity of the injured persons, the driver and the passenger is kept disclosed by the police for the interest of further investigation.

But the DGP Karnataka tweeted, “It’s confirmed now. The blast is not accidental but an act of terror with intention to cause serious damage. Karnataka State Police is probing deep into it along with central agencies.”

Two persons including the driver of an autorickshaw sustained injuries after a fire was reported in a moving autorickshaw near Nagori in Kankanady Town police station limits.

A pressure cooker and an object resembling a gas stove burned were found in the auto-rickshaw.

A team of top officials from the city police visited the spot and launched the probe.

City police commissioner N Shashi Kumar who is leading the investigation visited the hospital, where the injured are being treated. Sources said that the passenger kept changing his statements.

At latest, it has been revealed that during the treatment of the suspect passenger, who is in the ICU, it was found that he had undergone circumcision. So, the Jihadi connection for the Mangaluru Blast cannot be ignored. Moreover, the suspect criminal – the injured passenger here under treatment faked his Aadhaar card with a fictitious Hindu name.

Karanataka is believed as a communally disturbed state, where the home-grown and sponsored Jihadi outfits are active to kill Hindu people to spread communal tension between common people in order to achieve their Islamist goal.
